Plot: What’s it about?

In the WWE, the competition is intense and some of the biggest, strongest warriors in the world do battle. But even in a land of giants, Rey Mysterio has been handle to succeed and even thrive. He might be dwarfed by the rest of the roster, but his talent stands as tall as even his largest opponent, as Mysterio has been able to reach incredible heights. Video: How does it look?

The matches are presented in full frame, as intended. The material shown here spans about a dozen years, but it all looks good. Some of the newer WWE elements look more polished, but the WCW era material looks great also. The visuals are clear and clean, limited only by the original productions. The colors are bright and contrast is smooth, so all the action is visible and even the crowd is easy to scan, in case you like to read signs. A few minor compression issues and artifacts crop up, but nothing serious. So all in all, these matches look quite good.

Audio: How does it sound?

All the sounds of the squared circle are loud and clear in this release. The slams sound brutal, the chops will make you wince, and the crowd is electric, so this is as close to the action as you can get without a ticket. The audio here packs a punch, with a good amount of power, especially during the entrances with the booming music and crackling pyrotechnics. So yes, this sounds much better than when broadcast on television, no doubt. The commentary sounds clear and clean too, while interview segments are presented with no problems. Not much else to say here, these matches all sound great!

Supplements: What are the extras?

This release includes no bonus materials.
