Plot: What’s it about?
This is the story of a team of beautiful women, who want to create their own adult content website, NoAngels.com. The idea comes from Nicole Martiano, a spunky girl who admits she tends to like the ladies a little more than the guys. She wants to engineer a site which uses less graphic content, which means classier type shots and poses. She is soon joined by Zoe & Laurel, who will help Nicole refine her ideas and get the site off the ground. Zoe will be the site’s webmaster and also design the layout, while Laurel will serve as the team’s official photographer. Both also happen to beautiful hardbodies, which couldn’t hurt in the end. The girls manage to sweet talk some seed money out of this dude and before you know it, they’ve brought in two new partners in the form of Brandy & Karen. Brandy is a saucy Texas girl who loves feather boas, while Karen seems shy at first, but turns out to be a real tart. Both will bare it all for the website and soon enough, the ladies begin to recruit more models and the site seems destined for success. Will the dreams of these gorgeous women come true?
This movie was shot on what seem to be digital cameras and plays much like a documentary, though you can tell at times it is not one. The girls seem at home though and very natural, which helps keep the whole documentary feel intact. As if the subject matter of this film doesn’t give it away, this one is loaded with nudity and some of it reveals a lot more than you might expect. The camera never shies away from the breasts and even more intimate regions, but no hard-core content is depicted in the movie. We watch the girls discuss their sexual experiences, interview other girls, pay a visit on some strippers, engage in photo shoots, and all other manner of events where they can take their clothes off. Some of the names are familiar, such as Zoe Paul (Sexual Matrix), but most are either strippers or centerfold models. Some of the girls work better than others, but in a movie like this, we don’t need Oscar caliber work in front of the cameras. You’ll need to like the girls and their antics to like this movie, but I found it to be a lot of fun and filled with humorous moments. I don’t think I could watch this one all the time, but it was a good time and I am sure I will revisit the title down the road.
Video: How does it look?
NoAngels.com is presented in a 1.85:1 widescreen transfer, which is not enhanced for widescreen televisions. As I mentioned above, this seems to have been shot on some form of digital cameras, which means it has a super crisp appearance to it. Not film-like by any means, but a very pleasing image to be sure. I saw a few instances of moire patterns & edge enhancement, but nothing serious enough to worry about. The colors look bright and most importantly, the flesh tones seem warm and natural at all times. No contrast issues with this one either, an overall terrific visual treatment.
Audio: How does it sound?
This disc uses a 2.0 surround which handles the audio well, but the music is so cool, I wish a full 5.1 remix was present. This is a dialogue driven piece all the way, aside from some butt slapping now and again, so the surround use is minimal and unmemorable. The vocals come through loud and clear, with no volume or crispness issues in the least. As I said, this movie has a killer soundtrack and though it sounds good here, I pine for a full on surround sound mix.

You can read bios of each of the lead five girls and if that’s enough, also view a brief interview with each one. The interviews are found on the same page as their bios, so they’re not hard to find in the least. Two brief behind the scenes pieces are also included, which amount to some humorous in between takes sequences. The trailer for NoAngels.com is found here too, along with a wealth of other titles that seem to focus on naked women. A very cool and fairly extensive still photo collection is also included, which runs while music from the film plays in the background. The final extras is a bonus short film titled Twice The Fun, which has even more nude ladies just in case you haven’t seen enough yet.
