Plot: What’s it about?

Career bank robber and super nice guy, Jack Foley (Clooney) winds up in prison and meets Federal Marshal, Karen Sisco (Lopez)…that’s the romantic part. What lies in between is almost too hard to describe, but here goes. Buddy (Ving Rhames) and Foley find out about $5million of diamonds in Detroit and head up to get it, only to meet up with gangster who also wants the same thing. It’s really difficult to describe. But what I can tell you is that it’s the best movie I saw last year. Everything from the quirky, jazzy soundtrack to the dialogue and interaction of the cast…It all works, even if the price may be a bit steep, at least rent this awesome movie!

Video: How does it look?

This is part of Universal’s “Collectors Edition”, which is 16:9 enhanced. The picture is flawless, no artifacts. Perfect.

Audio: How does it sound?

Dolby Digital 5.1 is used wisely here. I mentioned the great, upbeat music throughout the movie, not many explosions or gunfire, but they don’t all need to be “Godzilla” to have awesome sound.

Supplements: What are the extras?

With director’s commentary, trailers, deleted scenes and a documentary, you’re getting more than your money’s worth. Did I mention it’s an awesome movie, too?
